I purchased a new 2025 Chevy Equinox EV on August 7th, 2025 from Silveira Chevrolet. Tom Butler was my salesperson. Tom was very helpful in making sure I received all of the rebates that were available. Tom also took all the time that I needed to put the deal together. Conner Silveira was also very helpful also. A few days after I was home I went to charge my new Chevy Equinox EV and found out I did not have all the components of the charger. I called Silveira Chevrolet and talked to the Service Manager Aaron Larkin about the missing charger components. The Service Manager Aaron Larkin had someone drive 106 miles one way to deliver a hole new charger in the case. At this time I am very satisfied with Silveira Chevrolet.

Sales manager lied to me when I asked before purchasing extended warranty, contract- is everything covered? "Yes, it is." Apparently not the battery, which was still under warranty. Did they leave the battery that belongs to me in my car? Of course not. They will take it and get the core refund. Also, someone broke the only key that I had for the car. It worked fine when I dropped it off. If I didn't have to use this dealership, I wouldn't. I don't trust anything that they say. Last time, SF Giants caps on my tires were stolen while in their possession.

Somehow my appointment got lost for the evaluation of my truck. Fortunately, David came through and not only shoe horned the evaluation but got the transmission fixed the same day! Thanks David and technician. Am not happy that GM is not paying for a repair on a transmission with only 13,900 miles under a service bulletin. Not right.

Process was decent overall but I was put off by the $211 charge to test my battery. I was getting a notice that my battery may need service so I asked to have it tested. I understand you need to charge for services and time but $211 seemed a bit high considering what a new battery cost. I have been using you for service for my truck but will most likely look elsewhere in the future. I am sure I can find quality service at better rates.

I had an appointment to have my GMC at the Sonoma California service center for the grill recall I took the truck in at 9:30. The staff knew I was waiting for it. They said it would be about 2 1/2 to 3 hours, I returned because it had been three hours and my truck had not even been serviced yet. They didn’t notify me update me or anything so we had a left and scheduled for December 19 which Evan one of the Service gentlemen promised that he would have it in first thing in the morning to get it done. I arrived at 8:20 to check in the vehicle and they didn’t start service until 915 when I got an email stating that they submitted a ticket at that time they knew I was waiting for the vehicle which again they said 2 1/2 to 3 hours I called in at 10:45 to check on my vehicle and they said it would be another 45 minutes so I waited in the Lobby waiting room for another hour and 10 minutes and a no update. I walked out to the service area desk and spoke to Evan, which then told me it was another 40 minutes at this time. I have been waiting for my vehicle for 4 1/2 hours I let him know of the situation and how frustrating it was because I wasn’t receiving any updates from them and I had to be somewhere at 1:20 which was an hour away. He then threw up his hands and frustration and said well you can’t drive it. It’s not drivable, I asked for a rental and he stated there was no rentals and then I continued in saying this is the second time they have failed me with no communication whatsoever. I’ve had to call in. I’ve had to walk in and they’ve known I’ve been sitting around waiting for my vehicle. He then yelled at one of the female receptionist there to get me a vehicle so I had left at 12:20. I went to my appointment and got home at 2 o’clock at that time. I still hadn’t received a phone call about my vehicle being ready when they had said 40 minutes. I then receive a phone call at 2:15 saying my vehicle is ready. I just wanted to state that the communication with the service department is horrible. They’ve never given me updates. They knew I was waiting around for the vehicle and the time was horrible. This is two days two separate days that this has happened. The frustration is so bad that I do not want to return to the Sonoma California dealership for my repairs, I did notify Evan Supervisor, and he then responded to me very rudely as my wife was standing in there. She overheard him speaking about me to other coworkers, which is very unprofessional.
